Supposedly the band found out about Kurt Cobain's death when they came off the stage between the main set and the encore. Rolling Stone published an excellent article on this show in June 1994; check it out! Clips of "Spoonman", "Mailman" and "The Day I Tried to Live" were broadcast on French TV.
