Show Notes

Soundgarden headlined the third day of this three day festival and are the first band to play the festival three times (they previously played in 1992 and 1996 when the festival was traveling). The band soundchecked "Spoonman" at 8:30 in the morning! Former Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Eleven drummer Jack Irons joins the band for "Slaves And Bulldozers". During the bridge of "Slaves And Bulldozers" Chris tags a bit of "Overfloater", the first performance of any kind of this song. Mp3s of the show are circulating. "Searching With My Good Eye Closed", "Let Me Drown" and "Face Pollution" were packaged on an exclusive DVD sold with some copies of Live On I-5. There have been numerous broadcasts of the ranging from 10 to 50 minutes in length on the Palladia channel. The 50 minute edit includes "Searching With My Good Eye Closed", "Spoonman", "Rusty Cage", "Blow Up The Outside World", "Let Me Drown", "Outshined", "Jesus Christ Pose", "Fell On Black Days", "Get on The Snake", "Black Hole Sun" and "Face Pollution". It is unknown if the full video will ever be aired or released.
